Using the Cayenne Pepper Cleanse Recipe

by Rob

There are many weight loss programs, regimens and diets flooding the marketplace today. Herbal remedies and detoxifying treatments are only a few. However, there has been a great deal of positive feedback originating from the technique of colon cleansing. Holistic practitioners have touted colon cleansing as a good method for detoxifying the body and losing weight. Colon cleansing alone has several formulas and recipes. Some professionals recommend that a series of different herbs along with specific liquids be used in place of food. These herbs and liquids are used for a short period of time since the cleanse is done as a fast lasting a week to 10 days.  One of the most recent and popular methods for cleansing the colon is known as the cayenne pepper cleanse recipe.

Cayenne along with salt water and sometimes honey, has been found to be an extremely effective way to cleanse the colon. This spicy pepper in its powder form, mixed in with the salt water has become one of the more popular cleansing recipes. For many, the colon becomes clogged with a thick mucus layer. This layer houses nitrates and toxins from processed foods that may be partially undigested. The toxic chemicals found within these foods have been known to build up along the lining he of the large intestine. Like many of the other popular colon cleansing recipes, such as psyllium, cayenne pepper acts as an irritant within the bowel. However, the unique aspect of cayenne, is its ability to thin the mucus lining. With the proper amount of treatment, this lining can literally be ejected through defecation.

Other health benefits that come from using cayenne are weight loss and lower blood pressure. The oil found in cayenne pepper can dilate the arteries. This dilation allows for greater blood flow throughout the body. The oil, which is a primary component of this hot red pepper, increases the body’s core temperature. The increase in temperature burns calories more rapidly and usually results in weight loss. There have also been reports that the use of cayenne as a dietary supplement may enhance the dopamine output within the human brain. This results in better moods and improved psychological health as well as physical well-being.

The cayenne cleanse has also proven to have significant nutritional values in addition to its other health benefits. This particular pepper has been found to be rich in vitamins B, A and C. Therefore, this pepper seems to do much more than simply spice up a meal. So even if you decide not to do the full cleanse, adding some cayenne pepper to your diet regularly would be a great idea.
