Juice is an important part of any well-balanced diet because it benefits the internal body systems. However, you may not be aware that juices can keep your skin clean and can help with mens skin care. In addition to treating acne and other skin conditions, juices may be ingested or applied to the skin in order to help reduce oil and minimize pore size.
There are many natural skin care routines that provide the same, if not better, results than over the counter products. To tone skin, mix ½-teaspoon lime juice with ½-teaspoon cucumber juice and apply it to the face, leaving it on for 30 minutes. Some females find that their skin makeup appears patchy due to excessive oiliness on certain areas of the face. To address this, put some cucumber oil onto the oily areas prior to applying makeup or apply equal measures of witch hazel and lime juice to the entire face.
To liven up the skin’s appearance and combat oil, make a solution of equal parts water and lemon juice twice per day. Apply the mixture to the face using a patting motion and let it dry then rinse it with warm water followed by cool water. However, do not apply this solution on broken-out skin, because it may cause a reaction.
To reduce the size of skin pores caused by heredity or oily skin, apply tomato juice to the skin with a cotton ball and allow it to remain on the skin for 20 minutes. The tomato juice will tone the skin and shrink the pores. In order to prevent acne, regularly drink carrot juice, which has an added benefit of aiding in digestion. Alternatively, peel a cucumber, blend it and apply the juice to the acne. You should also have a daily drink of four to five cups of cucumber juice for one week.
These are just a few of the ways that juices can help keep your skin clean. There are many others and they can be found by conducting an Internet or library search. There is no need to purchase expensive skin cleansers, moisturisers for men and treatments when the remedy is sitting in the kitchen cabinet.
