Making Fitness Fun and Simple For The Younger Generation
The concept is a series of videos that can help children get into exercise with characters they can identify with.
Lil Fit hired us to produce this project for their commercially available video series with the goal of reducing childhood obesity.
The hand-made animated video shown on this page focuses specifically on core-strength exercises using the feet to draw letters in the air.
There are two characters in this cartoon-style animated video series: “Abby”, who is the business owner of a fitness salon called “Lil Fit”, which is a virtual gym for young children and their parents to join.
There are other characters in the video series, however, in the animated video shown on this project summary is “Elijah”, the animated boy character, who does the exercises Abby directs.
Each video builds in the message of “ABC123 Minutes A Day”, through their series of animated, fun fitness videos for children.
Animation is the most effective and engaging way to teach young children fitness and fight the epidemic of childhood obesity.
We delivered the project with professional a voice over talent who sounded exactly like the client requested: a young girl aged 7 or younger. The artwork we created is hand-drawn and completely original for both static and motion graphics.
The goal of each cartoon style video in the series is to engage young children to exercise for at least three minutes. So each animated exercise video is produced near the three minute run time. However, the script is written with “mini-breaks” throughout, to break up the monotony and maintain engagement with this young audience.
This animated video is an example of both the finished product and what will be used to build a branded business through trade shows and online advertising.
